Legal position

Foreign languages – Informatics Center University of Economics is directly under Danang University of Economics; is a unit of legal person status.

Operational purpose

Improve the knowledge and skills in Foreign languages and Informatics’s field and meet the requirements of  Foreign languages and Informatics for DUE’s students and everyone.

Function

Foreign languages – Informatics Center organizes training courses, fosters knowledge, cooperates with educational organizations, issue certificates for completed courses in the foreign language or informatics programs, and is in accordance with social demands and current regulations.

Mission and authority

– Organize the implementation of training and fostering programs that aim to improve Foreign language and Informatics proficiencies  and meet the requirements of learners.

– Student recruitment and management.

– Preparation of training materials or selection of teaching resources with aims to meet the requirements of the standard output in training programs, forstering with appropriating for learners.

– Cooperate with the educational organizations, arrange examination and assessment in the foreign language or informatics training programs; concluding with the the issuance of certification of complement courses by FLIC. FLIC organizes examinations and issues the Foreign language – Informatics certificates of the state educational system once the examinees meet the conditions determined by the Ministry of Education and Training requirements.

–  Carry out the related work such as translation, compilation, programming, and software installation.

– Organization of training and fostering activities to enhance FLIC staff’s professional qualifications and FLIC’s teachers at the center.

– Organization of the research development activities of the center, improving the quality of education.
– Publicize the conditions for ensuring the quality of education.

– Exercise the authority to determine and publicize the tuition fee for each educational program by the quality of training and fostering.

– Develop internal rules, functional regulations, and organizational missions; manage, recruit, and develop senior management staff and lecturers according to FLIC’s development strategy.

– The Center is responsible for budgeting and finance, and fulfills its obligations to the tax department, University of Economics – The University of Danang and related organizations.

– Other duties and authorities according to law requirements.
